Peace of mind
doesn’t keep office hours.

When a few visits aren’t enough, we can talk about support across the day and night—and what arrangement fits your family.

Let’s talk about care
Thoughtful support at home

Different needs. Different arrangements.

24-hour care and live-in care are different. The right choice depends on the help needed, overnight routines, and whether someone needs to stay awake.

  • 24-hour care: caregivers working in scheduled shifts
  • Awake overnight support when that is part of the agreed plan
  • Live-in arrangements with agreed sleeping time and breaks
  • Clear handovers and a coordinator managing the schedule

Let’s talk about the nights, too.

Does Mom need help once or often? Is she awake for long stretches? We’ll discuss those details, available coverage, and costs before making a plan. Live-in care does not mean one caregiver works continuously.

A handover.
Not a fresh start.

Her evening preferences. How the night went. Anything the next caregiver should know. A small care circle helps carry those details from one visit to the next.

24-hour care and live-in care are not the same thing.

This is the distinction that costs families money when nobody explains it. 24-hour care means caregivers work shifts around the clock and someone is awake all night. Live-in care means a caregiver sleeps in the home and is there for the night, not awake through it.

They are staffed differently and they are billed differently, so when you compare two quotes, check you are comparing the same thing. Ask which one a price refers to before anything else.

What does 24-hour care cost?

The published median for a non-medical caregiver in Georgia is about $32 an hour, and metro Atlanta sits at the same figure rather than above it. Hours move the bill far more than the rate does, so ask any agency for a written weekly total. Round-the-clock cover is the largest care plan there is, so the honest answer is that the hours decide it: the published Georgia monthly median assumes 44 hours of care a week, and continuous cover is several times that. Read what care at home costs, then how families pay for it, because this is the level of care where benefits and waiver programmes matter most.

Is overnight care the same as 24-hour care?

No. Overnight care covers the hours she is most at risk, usually while the family sleeps, and it is a common first step when the days are fine and the nights are not. Start with the hardest nights rather than buying cover you do not need yet.

Who covers when a caregiver is sick?

The question to ask any agency, and the one worth getting in writing. We keep the care team small so a familiar person can step in, and we tell you when the schedule changes rather than leaving you to discover it.

We come to her home across metro Atlanta, including Buckhead, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Brookhaven, Decatur, Marietta, Roswell, Alpharetta, Johns Creek and Smyrna. See the areas we serve for what changes locally, and tell us her address and we will say plainly what we can staff.
